I feel like a honest review is needed. The reason I chose this house was because of the 5 stars and the great reviews and after staying here with my family, I feel duped/misled.I do have to say that the host was great easy to communicate with and very helpful. For example we were arriving into town 3 hours early and he let me do an early check in at the last minute for the 25 fee. I was very grateful.When we pulled up to the house it looks like an abandon home from the outside, the yard is all dead and full of weeds like it hasn't been taken care of in years. Nothing at all like the pictures on VRBO. No maintained green grass. We get in the house and there were so many air fresheners that within 30 mins some of us were getting headaches. The house itself is older and I don't have a problem with that as long as it is maintained and clean. My daughter noticed that all the air vents were filthy and black all around them and the filters looked like they haven't been changed in years. We went in the upstairs bathroom to get a fresh roll of toilet paper under the sink and it was soaking wet. The shower in that bathroom doesn't drain, so you are standing in your dirty water as you shower.I do have to say the beds were comfortable and lots of towels. My adult kids loved all of the games however wanted to play Cornhole but the back yard was too overgrown to play. I just feel like the pictures and reviews are misleading.

Wonderful host, help fix issues n responsive. Full of fun stuff cant get bored in this home. Perfect Positive: Host is professional airbnb they make the key system very easy for guests Negative: It isn't we dont like but if there is more bathroom/shower it would be nice. And circuit breaker trips twice but no big deal.

Positive: The location, the amenities, the cleanliness. It was a very nice stay and we all enjoyed it Negative: Wish that the hot tub could get hotter

Good Views & Amazing Family Experiences Positive: The location was AMAZING!!! We loved the view the backyard offered. We also enjoyed the entertainment the house offered from being able to play a round a pool, to a pingpong competition and even a air hockey match. We had such a relaxing experience and would definitely stay again Negative: I am not sure how cleaning fees are calculated but we stayed for one night and we felt that the cleaning fee was a little unreasonable but other than that, nothing but positive things about this property
